Sell your Patek Philippe on Watch Collecting
Patek Philippe has a storied history dating back to its foundation in 1839 by Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek. In 1845, Adrien Philippe joined the company, and it was renamed Patek Philiipe & Co. Patek Philiippe quickly gained recognition for precision and innovation, and the brand’s history is marked by pioneering horological achievements: being among the first to develop perpetual calendar watches and chronographs.
The Patek Philippe model range is renowned for its diversity. The Calatrava collection embodies classic elegance and timeless design, while the Nautilus and Aquanaut offer sportier, more contemporary options. The Grand Complications line showcases the brand’s mastery in crafting intricate timepieces, such as minute repeaters and tourbillons.
Patek Philippe’s history and model range represent a commitment to unparalleled craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation. Their timepieces are regarded as among the most prestigious and sought-after in the world, embodying the pinnacle of watchmaking excellence.
Of all the Patek Philippe sales on the platform, we achieved our record sale price for one of the most-talked about releases of 2021 – an olive-green Nautilus 5711/1300A, located in Hong Kong. The combination of a dial colour only previously seen on the Aquanaut, and a stunning baguette diamond-set bezel, saw it achieve a sale price of $725,000.
A stand-out Aquanut sale on Watch Collecting is this 2020 Aquanaut Travel Time 5164R in Rose Gold (£131,500). The chocolate dial has a distinctive geosphere embossing, with gold applied numerals with luminescent coating.
Of the over 40 Calatravas sold on Watch Collecting, we’ve achieved great sale prices in particular for the Pilot Travel Time. Inspired by Patek Philippe’s 1930s pilot watches, this 2021 Pilot Travel Time 5524G features enhanced legibility, large gold Arabic numerals, and hands that are filled with Super-LumiNova (£29,000).
