For auction through a private vendor, this 2022 Czapek Genéve Antarctique Passage de Drake is presented as a full set. The watch comes with its original display box and outer sleeve, instruction manual, manufacturer guarantee, proof of purchase from C.W. Sellers, and a Czapek “passport.” Further additions to the set include a spare rubber strap and tools. The vendor advises the watch is unworn and it appears to fit within the bounds of the seller’s ‘AAA’ grading.

The Antarctique series was introduced in 2020 by Czapek and has made waves in the collector community by offering a refreshing take on the integrated bracelet sports watch. The case of this reference measures 40.5mm in diameter and is finished in stainless steel. Perhaps its standout feature is the dial, finished here in “glacier blue” with a geometric “Stairway to Eternity” pattern. The watch is fitted with a matching stainless steel bracelet, which features the brand’s traditional “C Link” design and has a double deployant clasp.

Beneath the rear viewing crystal is Czapek’s SXH5 calibre, which is characterised by its seven skeleton bridges and finished in matte black. This automatic movement has a micro-rotor to ensure an unobstructed view of the highly finished components. The power reserve is rated at 56 hours.

A fully-independent watch brand, Czapek has a history in Swiss watchmaking dating all the way back to 1845. After a long period of absence, the brand was revived in 2011 by three entrepreneurs.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
