• Introduced in 2021, the Richard Mille RM40-01 is the brand's most extreme watch, created to match the specific design of the fastest road-going car McLaren ever produced, the Speedtail
• Measuring a significant 48.25 x 41.80mm, the teardrop-shaped case is crafted in grade 5 titanium and carbon TPT to reflect its automotive roots
• The sapphire dial showcases the technical workings of the movement underneath 
• It displays hours, minutes, seconds via the tourbillon, a power reserve indicator at 9 and a date indicator at 12 o'clock; neutral, winding and hand-setting functions can be selected with the pusher at 4 o'clock
• Powered by the in-house calibre CRMT4; an automatic tourbillon movement with a 50 hour power reserve
• The highly technical calibre can also be viewed through the sapphire crystal on the case back where the variable-geometry rotor features prominently and can be adjusted based on the wearer to maximise its winding efficiency
